“ They had the Maine lobster roll and the Connecticut style lobster roll. The Connecticut style is always the way to go. It was excellent with whole chunks of claw meat on it. I also tried the lobster bisque and french onion soup both were delicious. The lobster bisque had nice little chunks and great flavor. Most other restaurants just put little lobster in a blender and it comes out like moosh not this place. Overall the service was on point, the atmosphere was chill, and the food was true to the taste of New England coming from a true New Englander ”

“ Showed up on a Thursday (3-27-25)night around 630pm. Had about a 10 min wait before Joy was ready to take care of us for the evening. We have been in the area for about a week now and out of all the resturants Joy was our sunshine for the night! We ordered teas, water, beer and for food burgers, onion rings, lobster rolls,chowder and the food was brought quick to our table probably within 15 min was looked amazing and tasted amazing! Joy was pleasant, chatted with us a bit, told us specials, drafts made suggestions and kept our drinks full and us happy till we left full! If your in the area stop by and ask for Joy.. Get a tea, grab a beer hang out with family bring friends you won't be disappointed even a little bit. ”
“ This restaurant is located on a quiet area of Florida A1A in South Melbourne Beach, Fl. The atmosphere is very friendly and warm - you can see that the restaurant staff is like family. One of the bartenders actually does an amazing job of decorating one of the dining rooms for holidays. When we were there, it was Easter. We started our meal with a side salad, then split a 1LB order of Maine Steamer Clams (About 5 nice sized clams each) and we each had the Boatyard fried combination of fried shrimp and fried oysters. I had rice and my girlfriend had a potato. Each disj came with fried onion rings. We did not have dessert. Everything was excellent and hot. The service provided by Pamela was excellent. The prices and portions were reasonable. Cannot wait to return. ”
“ We got the conch fritters as an appetizer, and Connecticut style lobster rolls. The fritters were crispy, crunchy while still being soft on the inside. The horseradish sauce it came with wasn't too aggressive. The lobster rolls were simplicity at its finest. Perfectly prepared with a toasty bun. Just butter, lettuce, meat and bread. Personally my favorite way to enjoy lobster. Also had some Arnold Palmers, made for just the right Father's Day experience with my dad. Highly recommend making the drive out to this place. ”
“ First time here and I love it. We sat at the first patio, the fans kept it comfortable, and there was tons of kitchy stuff on the walls for the kids to look at. The food was great. The fish sandwich was really good, the batter was super tasty. The Cajun shrimp was also really good. The server was the best, she helped with a family emergency while we were there and she was so accommodating and understanding. We will certainly be coming back to try more! ”
“ We travel an hour every time we come here and it's always worth it. We got the Connecticut Lobster Roll, chicken pasta, cheese burger, fish nuggets, whole belly claims, mate dinner, and some boston cream pie. Really liked the onion rings and scallops. Everything was delicious! ”
“ Have driven past this restaurant a few times, always wanting to stop but couldn't for whatever reason. Finally did. Was not disappointed. The service was great, and the atmosphere was very charming with that seaside tiki feel. I had the clam chowder, which was phenomenal. This was followed by the fried clam basket, which was the perfect amount, and scratched the itch to have good fried clams in Florida. I will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu!!! ”
